Trekking Sanqingshan: Hidden Gem in China's UNESCO Landscape

Sanqingshan (or Sanqing Mountains) is located in China's Jiangxi province, in the eastern part of the country. It is a tourist destination still relatively undiscovered even by the Chinese themselves, which translates into short queues, rare crowds, and only the occasional guide with a flag. A true luxury. Despite its beauty, Sanqingshan is overshadowed by the nearby Yellow Mountain / Huangshan and is therefore often overlooked. A great mistake.
