The Camino de Santiago continues to impress with its statistics despite falling in rainy and cold months, which make the route less frequented due to adverse conditions.

To give you an idea, this February saw a total of 2,902 pilgrims arriving in Santiago (2,874 in 2023), while last August, the strongest month of the previous year, saw 71,300 pilgrims arriving in Santiago de Compostela (wow). Traditionally, April is the month when pilgrim numbers increase considerably (for example, rising from 11,300 in March last year to 40,200 in April of the same year).

The total number of pilgrims arriving in Santiago de Compostela last February was 2,902, a hundred more than in January.

Of all pilgrims, nearly 37% were Spanish and 63% were foreign from various origins (Portugal, Korea, Germany, USA, Italy and others).
