Finisterre and Muxia Way: Earning Your Fisterrana Certificate
The Fisterrana certificate marks the completion of your pilgrimage along the Finisterre Way. A spiritual journey to the world's end.

Fisterrana
Upon reaching Santiago, pilgrims face a meaningful choice: hang up their boots and rest, or continue walking to the ocean. Many choose the latter path, drawn perhaps by the magic of a sunset over the sea, by the land the ancients called finis terrae—the end of the world.
The credential for the Finisterre and Muxia Way is the same one used along the Camino de Santiago. Of course, you can obtain a new one, or request the dedicated certificate when you collect your compostela.
If you join one of our walking journeys, don't worry—we provide all credentials directly.
Three stages separate Santiago de Compostela from Finisterre, and just one stage separates Finisterre from Muxia. The route to Finisterre or Muxia follows the same path for the first two stages. It's only on the third stage, upon arriving at Dumbria, that you must choose your direction.
Those who visit both Muxia and Finisterre—in either order—receive two dedicated certificates: the Muxiana and the Fisterrana. Of course, you may decide to reach only one of these destinations, in which case you'll receive just one certificate.

Important!
If you decide to obtain both certificates and complete the final stage, you must obtain the sello at Lires. This is the only way to prove you've truly walked the entire stage.
